LEXINGTON — Esther Morton Colson, 80, of John Wright Road, died Saturday, March 8, 2008. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with the Rev. Clayton Stoneman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. today, prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of the daughter. Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net. Kenneth B. Fowler LEXINGTON — Kenneth Burgess Fowler, 90, of Floyd Church Road, died Friday, March 7, 2008, at Lexington Health Care. Mr. Fowler was born on Sep. 27, 1917, in Rochelle Park, N.J. to John Hunter Fowler and Ethel Burgess Fowler. A lifetime resident of Hunterdon County, N.J. until 2005, he was a retiree of the State of New Jersey, Division of Fish and Game and a veteran of the United States Navy from 1942 to 1946, having served on the U.S.S. Birmingham. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald Fowler. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Davidson Funeral Home is serving the family. Joann Stewart THOMASVILLE — Mrs. Joann Elizabeth Hepler Stewart, 74, of 1028 Virigina St., died Sunday, March 9, 2008, in Liberty Woods Nursing Center. She was born Oct. 10, 1933, in Gaston County, N.C. to the late Paul Whitman and Hattie Starkey Whitman. She was a homemaker and a member of Prayer Praise and Worship Church in Thomasville. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Becky Young. Funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. in J.C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville with the Reverends Jim LeQuire and Ernest Gibson officiating. The interment will be in Holy Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Conrad LEXINGTON — Gladys Mae Evans Conrad, 90, an amazing lady who loved children, family and flowers, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. Her family, her deepest love and greatest joy, was by her side and close to her heart. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at First Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the church narthex following the service. Memorials may be sent to First Lutheran Church Building Fund, P.O.
