Brian Christopher Bradshaw, 69, of Thomasville, died Friday, April 3, 2009, at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. Bradshaw was born Oct. 16, 1939, in London, England, a son of Christopher Bradshaw and Mabel Darlison Bradshaw. He was a photography studio manager for SCP Studios in High Point before his retirement. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charlie Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Briles MIDWAY — Nellie Mae Disher Briles, 73, of Landmark Estates, died Monday, March 30, 2009, in Lexington Memorial Hospital from a brief illness. There will be no services. Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net. Lonnie Byerly Lonnie James Byerly, 60, of Thomasville, died April 1, 2009, at Thomasville Medical Center. His remains were donated to medical research. Ralph Collett Ralph Leon Collett, 91, a resident of 211 County Line Road, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at his home. Born on March 7, 1918, in Davidson County, to John Jerome Collett and Fleta Green Collett, he had made his home in this area for his entire life. He was a farmer by occupation. He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church for the past 78 years, where he was a member of the R.L. Pope Bible Class, and he enjoyed serving as an usher for many years. He was a past chairman of the Davidson County USDA-ASCS, and he was also a past president and vice president and currently on the Board of Directors of the Davidson County Farm Bureau. He was a past member of the Thomasville Planning and Zoning Board. He loved to till the ground and grow his garden and particularly enjoyed sharing his produce with family and friends. He was married to the former Virginia Rogers, who preceded him in death on June 20, 1997. Surviving are a daughter, Polly Ann Collett Grantham and husband Byron, of Hickory; sons, Leon Collett and wife Gwen, of Thomasville, and Lanny Collett and wife Mary, of Mocksville; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Hay of Kingsport, Tenn.; and brothers, Harrell Collett and wife Jessie and John Collett and wife Carolyn, all of Thomasville. His grandchildren are Valerie Fore, Jason Collett, Ginger Hoshall, David Grantham, Lanny Collett II, Joshua Collett and step-grandson David Cockman. He was also proud of his 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Memorial United Methodist Church with the Revs. Peggy Finch and Dr. Ivan H.M. Peden officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. Memorials may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church in Thomasville. Woodlieff was born Jan. 18, 1934, in Davidson County, daughter of Ethel Embler Pope of Lexington. She was a homemaker and had made this area her home for her entire life. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Faith Community Chapel with the Rev. Mike Wetherald officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home and at other times at the home of a son, Johnny Woodlieff, at 220 Woodlieff Lane in Thomasville.
